If you've noticed my sporadic posts and been wondering what my day-to-day looks like, this is the post for you!
If you're wondering about my degree progress... I'm in the throes of writing two terminal documents at the same time. I'm currently writing both my music theory thesis for my MM in music theory AND writing my dissertation (or "doctoral document") for my DMA in flute.
All that writing is keeping me pretty busy! On top of writing those documents, I spent the last year and half teaching flute and piano full time in Norman, OK.
But I recently relocated and moved to.....
California! I moved to California in August with my partner who is enjoying his first semester on faculty at the University of California, Merced! About a month after getting settled we hopped on several planes and went to the Convergence conference in Leicester, UK at the end of September.
I've been teaching a handful of students back in OK over Zoom and otherwise just writing, writing, writing!
I've steadily begun the process of filling my studio so if you are located in and around Merced, CA and are looking for a flute or piano teacher, fill out the contact form on my site!
